Full Intro Course

2-hour session x 3

Session 1: Throwing on the wheel

You will be given 2 kilos of clay, and instructor will guide you from centring to finishing 2 pieces of work.

Session 2: Trimming – shape refining and footing

You will be provided with trimming tools, and instructor will guide you to refine your work, trim the foot rim of your pieces and add some simple carving decorations.

Session 3: Glazing – finish your work with some colours

You will choose from our whole glaze collection to brush-on glazes to your work. Underglazes are available if you wish to draw details on.

Information that you may want to know:

Clay type: Stoneware clay.

Glaze and firing included.

Home with: 2 pieces of your work.

Level required: Beginner.

*This class is open to ages 12 and up. However, participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an attending adult.

Note:
If you book the Full Intro Class on December 10 and December 13, your final Glazing Class will take
• January 7, 2026 (for the Dec 10 class)
• January 10, 2026 (for the Dec 13 class)
Both glazing sessions will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Collection Policy: Once you have been notified that your pieces are ready for collection, we will hold them for a maximum of 6 weeks. Any pieces not collected within this period may be removed and disposed of due to limited storage space.
