Matcha Set Workshop

Join us for a special Friday night pottery session where you’ll create your own handmade matha set.

In this 2-hour wheel throwing workshop, you will learn how to throw and shape:

• One matcha bowl (chawan)
• One whisk holder (chasen holder)

Perfect for beginners and those with some wheel experience, this class focuses on form, balance, and functionality – creating pieces that feel beautiful to hold and use.

Home with 2 pieces of your work.

All pieces will be professionally glazed (you can choose your preferred glaze color from our studio’s selection) and kiln-fired at the studio, ready for collection a few weeks later.

Clay Type: Stoneware Clay

Level required: Beginner.

Get ready with:

Washable clothes

Covered shoes / shoes that are easy to clean.

Your creativity

And be relaxed.

Collection Policy: Once you have been notified that your pieces are ready for collection, we will hold them for a maximum of 6 weeks. Any pieces not collected within this period may be removed and disposed of due to limited storage space.
